J Dilla手がけてたSlum Villageの'00年作『Fantastic, Vol. 2』収録の不朽の名曲#Fall In Love"ネタとしてもお馴染みのタイトル曲はじめ、極上のエレピと躍動するリズムのコンビネーション光るジャズファンクの傑作。

Gap Mangioneによる、1968年作『Diana In The Autumn Wind』が、本人全面協力のもと、信頼のBE WITH RECORDSより遂に初アナログ再発。

12年に及ぶライセンス交渉を経て実現したまさに待望の一枚。

J ディラやマッドリブをはじめ、ア・トライブ・コールド・クエスト、ゴーストフェイスらが引用した名サンプリング源としても知られるが、その本質は芳醇なエレピと躍動するリズムが織りなす極上のジャズ/ファンク。

若きスティーヴ・ガッドやトニー・レヴィンの演奏も圧巻。幻盤の名に相応しい歴史的再発。
