優美なピアノ、ストリングス巡るariosounds「headlight hush 」、ギターのフレージングと漆黒のベースグルーヴに淡いジャズヴァイブを感じさせるBUDAMUNK「Take A Ride 」 、J DillaのDNAの継承を体感させられるBallhead 「YDN[96]」、トランペットやピアノの巡りもグルーヴィーなDJ SHUCREAM「Vanilla 」、淡いコーラスとピアノの巡りも心地よいtajima hal「Vortex 」、”間””グルーヴ”の美学体感のBUDAMUNK「Watchout」、カリンバの響きもスモーキーな ill-sugi「Gecco」、メロウで暖かくもダブ/アブストラクトなLark Chillout「No One Else」などなど、珠玉のビート14TRKが収録。

デトロイトのレジェンド、House Shoesがキュレーションを手がけた、日本人ビートメイカーによ るビート・コンピレーション。

本作では、Chikaramanga（TRES / Giant Panda）が日本人ビートメイカーからビートを集め、 House Shoesが最終的な選曲とアートワークのディレクションを担当。House Shoesが主宰する Street Corner Musicのリリースに通じる手法で制作された。スタイルや世代、出身地の異なるアー ティストが集結し、現在の日本のビートシーンの奥行きと広がりを映し出す作品となっている。

本作には10名の日本人ビートメイカーが参加。Can I Beat It? 2025優勝のBALLHEADをはじめ、世 界的に評価されるBudaMunk、ill-sugi、tajima hal、そして伝説的クルーA.Y.B.FORCEのメンバーで あるLark Chilloutが名を連ねる。さらに、BEAT GRAND PRIX 2023ファイナリストでありCan I Beat It?準優勝のariosounds、LORE BEHIND所属でSP-404MKIIワークショップの講師としても活動 するDJ SHUCREAMとTommy Beats、ロサンゼルスを拠点にアンダーグラウンド・シーンを横断す るKAPSOUL、そして日本のビートシーンの次世代を担う17歳のビートメイカーPoneも参加してい る。さらに、House ShoesとChikaramangaによるボーナストラック２曲も収録。
